Exo bikes: a new class of urban electric vehicles
NORM April 14, 2010
The Exo bikes will be launched in April 14th in Freedom Square in the heart of Tallinn. Exo will demonstrate its two new pre-production product concepts: Chiara and Neutrino.

Exo bikes are innovative compact electric vehicles which brake the current stereotypes of urban two-wheelers. Exo’s unique design is based on origami-style folded aluminium exo-frame, that will differ it significantly from any other scooter or e-bike in this compact class. Compared to regular scooters Exo weighs significantly less, only 35-40 kg and drives up to 80km per charge.

“Our goal was to design a vehicle that would be smart, easy to use and emotional,” commented the designer Gabriel Verilaskja.

Exo is extremely energy efficient as it only takes ca 1 kW of energy per 100km of drive. It can drive up to 45km per hour.

It’s smaller than your mountain bike so you can easily take it to the elevator and keep it in your apartment if you like. As Exo emits no smells or liquids you can leave it even to your living room.
